Rock at Entrance of a Cave

Purgatory Chasm State Reservation is a unique natural landmark and a great place to spend the day. Located in Sutton, MA, the chasm runs for a quarter of a mile between granite walls rising as high as 70 feet. The hiking trails lead to many different rock formations, with such names as The Corn Crib, The Coffin, The Pulpit, Lovers' Leap and Fat Man's Misery.
