Look Park in Florence, MA is perfect for brides seeking a natural setting for their ceremony paired with all the modern luxuries for their reception. The park has many great locations for photos including panoramic views of the tree-lined lake, gorgeous towering pines and forested walking paths with picturesque wooden bridges. The Garden House is well maintained and has high ceilings, a large fireplace and seating for up to 175 guests. The outdoor patio and large tent add even more space and options for your event.

Surrounded by nature and beautifully designed gardens, the Garden House is set within one of the most beautiful parks in all of western Massachusetts. Brides looking to be married within the park can choose from at least three different locations. There is the Victorian Gazebo, the Pines Theater, The Sanctuary at Willow Lake and the massive tent on the patio just outside the Garden House.

Many brides choose to be married at The Pines Theater due to it's picturesque and private setting. Guests are greeted by a grand Goshen stone wall entrance covered with a lush blanket of ivy. The view opens up into an expansive green lawn amphitheater framed with two stone towers. It's a gorgeous spot that is perfect for any size wedding as the stage alone can hold seating for 200 guests.

Another popular spot is The Sanctuary at Willow Lake. You have the choice to be married with the lake as your background or to stand on the colorful flagstone floor in front of the huge fireplace. Walk the lake-side boardwalk for your bridal portraits or stroll down on of the many pine needle laden paths. This Willow Lake location is extra impressive in the fall and can accommodate up to 150 guests.

It's an amazing venue but dates are limited due to popular demand for this rustic gem!

True emotions show best when the person being photographed is not thinking about the camera!

Photojournalism is a popular style among brides today. It is more challenging than traditional photography. The ability to create a candid portrait that is so perfect it seems posed is a tough skill to acquire. A photo that is interesting and carefully composed will stand the test of time. I push myself on every shoot, while framing every picture to accept nothing but the best and to create fresh work like nothing I have ever done before.

It’s all about capturing that moment that is fleeting and barely present. Personal interactions captured in time on your wedding day like a touch, a burst of laughter or a tear drop can only last a quick second. I look for signs and try to be prepared to capture these moments. Subtle clues tell me where to be, when to be there and what gear to use in order to get the best result. It takes painstaking concentration and patience. But in the end, my photographs are pieces of art that will last a lifetime for my clients.

First Blog

Thank you to everybody who supported me during my transition into the world of professional photography. It still amazes me that I can make money doing something that I would love to do anyway.

The weddings have been going great. I have been receiving overwhelming positive response from all of my clients. It is really great to be a part of their lives at such an exciting time. I feel like I am best friends with the couple and their friends/family by the end of the night.

Portrait sessions have also been a lot of fun. I've been chasing little babies around my studio and acquiring more and more props every month. I am getting faster at setting up the backdrops and coordinating props. Every age of childhood has its own set of unique challenges and I am learning new tricks to keep their attention all the time. Also, my daughter Cleo is giving me lots of practice while I try to keep up with her.

My landscape photography is becoming very popular. I am adding descriptions to each photograph on the website to help with search and promotion. Also, I have attended my first art festival as a vendor. Baystate Health has purchased some of my prints for their new wing of the hospital. I will continue to search out potential clients and venues to promote my art.
